FAQ

You might have some questions

The Pilates Reserve is first and foremost a group of highly skilled, inspired instructors committed to our client’s wellbeing. With Pilates becoming a mainstream form of exercise, many people are doing Pilates but missing the important points that make the method effective and that honor the true intent of the practice. We strive to deliver the full results of what is possible from a dedicated Pilates practice.

In addition to private and duet sessions, we offer select small group classes on the mat and chair. These sessions focus on individual and group goals with progressions of the exercises as the group advances. Classes typically include three to four clients.

Absolutely. In fact, a properly designed Pilates program can be highly beneficial. Many people come into a Pilates practice as an adjunct or next step in their physical therapy. If you are under the care of a medical professional, we will work with your therapist and incorporate their guidelines into your program.

Absolutely! Sometimes there is a misconception that you need to be a dancer, athlete, or super-flexible and strong to do Pilates. At The Pilates Reserve we understand the true essence of the exercises and are able to adapt each session to a suitable starting point and advance you as you are ready.

We have a full studio of state of the art equipment including the Reformer, Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Ladder Barrel and Spine Corrector. This gives us access to hundreds of exercises allowing us to finely tune your program to your needs.

We recommend Pilates 2-3 times per week to experience the full impact of your practice. However, we have seen great results in as little as once a week. Often, it is helpful for you to practice a personally prescribed Pilates workout at home to accompany the in-studio practice.
